Terms of Service

Silicon Valley Stagers (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides staging and design services through our website siliconvalleystagers.com (the “Site”) and through in-person or on-site services (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Site or booking Services, you agree to these Terms.

Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information.

1) Scope of Services

We provide professional home staging and interior design consulting services to homeowners, real estate agents, and property developers. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are provided in your proposal, invoice, or service agreement (the “Agreement”). If these Terms conflict with your Agreement, the Agreement controls for that project.

2) User Responsibilities (Site Use)

  • When using our Site or Services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Not misuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Site

  • Use the Site and Services in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

3) Service Communications

By providing your contact information, you agree we may contact you about scheduling, confirmations, project updates, invoices, and service follow-ups by phone, email, and/or text. Details about messaging practices and opt-out options are provided in our Privacy Policy.

4) Booking, Deposits, and Payments

  • Appointments are not final until confirmed by a Silicon Valley Stagers representative

  • A deposit may be required to reserve dates and inventory

  • Payment terms, due dates, and any fees are defined in your Agreement and/or invoice

  • Cancellations, reschedules, late cancellations, and no-shows may incur fees as defined in your Agreement

5) Property Access and Conditions (Staging Requirements)

To perform Services, you agree to:

  • Provide safe and timely access to the property (keys, lockbox, entry instructions)

  • Ensure a safe working environment and disclose known hazards (construction, unstable flooring, pests, mold, etc.)

  • Secure pets during scheduled work

  • Remove or secure valuables and fragile items before installation and removal

If the property is not ready or safe at the scheduled time, we may need to reschedule. Additional trip, labor, or storage fees may apply if stated in your Agreement.

6) Intellectual Property

All Site content, including text, images, graphics, logos, and layout, is owned by Silicon Valley Stagers or our licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

Any staging plans, concepts, or design recommendations we provide remain our intellectual property unless your Agreement states otherwise.

7) No Guarantees

Staging and design outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any specific results, including sale price, days on market, buyer interest, or return on investment.

8) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Silicon Valley Stagers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or delays caused by factors beyond our control. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services giving rise to the claim, unless required by law.

9) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Silicon Valley Stagers harmless from claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

10) Third-Party Links

The Site may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.

11) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates are effective when posted on the Site.

12) Termination / Refusal of Service

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate Services or access to the Site if: (a) payment is not made according to the Agreement or invoice, (b) the property is unsafe or access is not provided as scheduled, (c) you misuse the Site, or (d) you breach these Terms or the Agreement. Any fees already earned or costs incurred remain due as permitted by your Agreement and applicable law.

13) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Santa Clara County, California.

14) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15) Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with your Agreement (including any proposal, invoice, and written policies referenced in it), constitute the entire understanding between you and Silicon Valley Stagers regarding the Site and Services, and supersede any prior discussions or communications related to the same.
