The Challenge: Repositioning a Home That Had Already Been on the Market
The property had previously been staged and marketed for 63 days without selling. When it returned to market, the goal was not simply to furnish it again. It needed a fresh presentation strategy that would help buyers better understand the property, distinguish its many spaces, and remember the home after a showing.
The estate also included a separate two-bedroom guest house, adding another layer to how buyers needed to understand the property and its potential.

A New Strategy for a More Memorable Presentation
With several bedrooms, large living spaces, and a separate guest house, the staging was designed to make important areas easier for buyers to distinguish, understand, and remember.
Make Each Bedroom Memorable
With four bedrooms in the main residence, similar rooms could easily blend together after a showing. Instead of repeating the same neutral look, we gave each bedroom its own personality, color palette, and suggested use so buyers could remember the individual spaces.

Highlight the Guest House
The guest house was treated as an important part of the property's overall presentation. We staged its living areas, kitchen, and bathrooms while leaving the two bedrooms unstaged, giving buyers enough context to understand how the separate residence could function without unnecessarily furnishing every room.

Staging + Photography
One Coordinated Team
Because Silicon Valley Stagers provided both services, the home was staged with the final listing photography in mind. Furniture placement, focal points, and styling were considered for both the in-person showing and the camera, creating one consistent presentation from the listing photos through the buyer experience.

The Result
The home returned to market with a new staging and photography presentation and ultimately sold for $6.25 million, or $1.75 million above the starting/list price.
The property recorded 32 days on market for the successful listing.
A successful sale depends on many factors, including pricing, market conditions, the property itself, and the Realtor's strategy. Our role was to help the property return to market with a polished, cohesive, and memorable presentation that supported its luxury positioning.
